America's Great Outdoors

Peek a boo bobcat! Melodi Roberts photographed this coy kitty while visiting Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge in Florida. Bobcats are elusive and nocturnal, so spotting one at all is a rare treat! At Merritt Island, the best place to see wildlife is along the Black Point Wildlife Drive. While on the 7-mile, one-way drive, look for all sorts of birds, river otters, alligators and adorable bobcats. Photo courtesy of Melodi Roberts.
